I am Derek SO Cheuk Hei, an Accounting & Finance and Business Design & Innovation graduate from Hong Kong. This website is an ongoing personal project to showcase what I have done at and outside school, and who I am.

Personally, I enjoy a stimulating intellectual challenge that enables me to explore hidden insights and experiment with different ideas. I am also striving to continuously improve myself with a multitude of skills and knowledge. That is why I have taken on BDI as a second major or taken on positions across different industries in the past. The feeling of learning knowledge and skills across multiple industries really gives me a sense of achievement and satisfaction.

I also love to stay busy. During summer breaks, besides interning at different companies, I have also taken online courses and other activities to keep myself busy and occupied, like going on a study tour, learning Python for Data Science or taking PMI's CAPM exam. 

​

Having grown up in Shenzhen and moving back to Hong Kong at 11, I am culturally adept at being a communicator between the East and the West. So don't be alarmed when you see me speaking Cantonese, English and Mandarin at different times of the day.
