Most of the work you see here, such as UI designs are my own work within a bigger group project. You can see my roles and responsibilities in the Overview section at the beginning of each page.

While I was compiling work on that, I realized that the group project topics and assignment questions are similar every year. To avoid plagiarism, I have decided not to put up any work on my Acc&Fin major. The very nature of the project deliverables also meant that it would be difficult to present them without giving the answers away.

"Real" work experience, e.g. internships - < 1 year combined. UX/UI design - 2.5 years, starting from my sophomore year in university.

On the Acc&Fin side, I use Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word. I also use Tableau Prep & Desktop for data visualization. I could also use Python. On the Design side, I use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and XD to design prototypes. I used Wix to create this website.

Currently I am looking for a full-time position / contract position related to consulting, accounting and design. If you consider my capabilities to be a good fit for your firm, I will be more than happy to talk to you in person, through video conferencing, email or direct messages.

This website was a personal project I have started in 2020 to demonstrate what I have done in University, my skills and personal brading, as I believe one's ability should not be determined solely through a 1-pager CV or transcript. It is my hope that this website can tell the viewers more about who I am in a more holistic way.

I have always loved learning about new things and BDI came across as something I have never learnt before. Peer pressure was also a contributing factor, as many of my Acc&Fin peers have upgraded theit home minor in Finance into a 2nd major, and I felt the need to stand out. In hindsight, even though it meant I had a much heavier workload than my peers, I do not regret choosing BDI as my 2nd major.

At work, I enjoy an close-knit, cross-disciplinary and diverse environment where team members are free to exchange ideas on a project, and autonomy is given after tasks are delegated (i.e. no micromanagement). I commit myself to the quality of each task, and seek comments on potential improvements on my deliverables from my superiors and colleagues. At home, I love a good cup of tea, quality time with family and some good city-builders, simulation and strategy games.
